Club Partnership Programme

First launched in the 2003/04 Season, the Club Partnership Programme, sponsored by Stratstone of Aylesbury Land Rover, aims to build strong relationships between Saracens and our local rugby clubs. We are committed to the development of the game within our community and believe that the most effective way of achieving this is in partnership with the local clubs.

Benefits to Partner Clubs include:

- An association with your local Premiership Rugby Team, including links from www.saracens.com to your club website and details about your club.

- The opportunity for clubs to raise funds through tickets via the 'Club Ticket Initiative'

- Participation in match day activities prior to Saracens fixtures

- Access to Coach Development sessions and resources

- Opportunities to attend Coaches Open Days to see how the players are trained

- Free membership to our Junior Fan Clubs; Sarrie"s Squad (for Minis Players up to U12) and RUCK15 (for Junior Players up to U16) to all club members

Review of the 2007/8 season:

During the 2007/08 season The Saracens Club Partnership Programme has worked with over 40 partner rugby clubs. The programme this year has continued to grow and seen each club benefit through cash back, coach education, player visits and additional match day activities.

The programme has seen an estimated £12,500 generated in cash back that has helped to develop grass root rugby and young players throughout the community. In addition to this the programme has seen the following outcomes for the 2007/08 season.

- Over 250 U8"s have taken part in half time tag exhibitions

- Over 450 attendees on "Coach the Coaches" sessions

- Over 1050 Participants took part in pre match coaching with the Saracens Academy

- Over 800 children have helped form the Saracens 'Guard of Honour'

- Clubs have received Over 200 hours worth of Player Visits

Saracens work in strong partnership with rugby clubs and we are looking forward to developing these relationships with each club and its members next season.

Saracens Herts/Middx Junior Rugby Leagues

In addition to running the Club Partnership Programme, Saracens also support local club rugby by sponsoring the Herts/Middx Junior Rugby Leagues. This is an excellent tournament running throughout the season which sees local junior teams battling it out in leagues in six different age groups.
